General Terms of Contract

Version 1.0 · Effective [date] · Provider: [Company legal name] (see Company information)

1. Scope

These terms govern the use of the digital BridgIT platform (digitalbridgit.com), a B2B event-networking service where organizers create events and visitors register, build profiles, and arrange business meetings. By registering, you accept these terms.

2. The service

digital BridgIT provides: event creation and management for organizers; visitor registration via invite links; profiles with per-field privacy controls; an invitation-based matchmaking system that schedules meetings into the organizer's configured time slots; meeting chat; and related notifications by email. The service is provided as a cloud service — no installation is required.

3. Registration and accounts

Registration requires a valid email address, which must be verified before first sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential; optional two-factor authentication is available in your profile. Organizer accounts require approval by the provider. One email address may hold one visitor and one organizer account.

4. Fees and subscriptions

Use of the platform for visitors is free of charge. For organizers, [current model: free / pricing to be introduced]. Where subscriptions are offered: prices are stated including applicable VAT; billing is [monthly/annual] in advance; subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current period; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Payment processing is provided by [payment provider]. Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal, which lapses for fully performed digital services with prior express consent.

5. Obligations of users

You agree to provide accurate profile information, to use the platform only for lawful B2B networking purposes, and not to harass other attendees, scrape data, misuse contact details shared during networking, upload unlawful content, or attempt to compromise the service. The organizer of an event is responsible for the lawfulness of the event itself.

6. Data protection

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Visitors control the visibility of their contact details and can delete their profile and account themselves at any time.

7. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; maintenance and force majeure may cause interruptions. Security updates are provided continuously — see the Security page. Support: info@digitalbridgit.com.

8. Liability

The provider is liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for harm to life, body, or health. For slight negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract and, for paid plans, to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months. The provider is not a party to, and assumes no liability for, agreements concluded between attendees at events.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in your profile. The provider may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms. Upon discontinuation of the service, customers receive at least 6 months' notice.

10. Final provisions

These terms are governed by the law of [Hungary], without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of the user's country of residence. Should individual provisions be invalid, the remainder stays in force. We may amend these terms with [30] days' notice; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
